Intro - August 4th, 2008

Hello one and all, and welcome to my site! The content on these pages is for the original, the awesome, "The Sims" PC game. This site contains previews for skins, objects, and lots available at the Spiralbound Sims Yahoo Groups. Take your time flipping through the pages of the spiralbound, feel free to download anything that suits your fancy, and above all, have fun!

Instructions

Unzip all Skins to Maxis ~> The Sims ~> GameData ~> Skins.
Unzip all Walls to Maxis ~> The Sims ~> GameData ~> Walls.
Unzip all Floors to Maxis ~> The Sims ~> GameData ~> Floors.
Unzip all Objects to Maxis ~> The Sims ~> GameData ~> UserObjects or
Maxis ~> The Sims ~> Downloads ~> "My Subfolder".

All skins featured on this site are available in all 3 skintones unless otherwise specified. If one of my objects seems to result in a game crash, check your file in the program Object ID to search for conflicting IDs. If a rae_object shares an ID with another object, you can either delete one of the objects, or simply change the last digit of the ID. If one of my skins causes a crash or doesn't appear in the game, check the bitmap file (.bmp) to make sure it is in 256 color. I've checked them all, but you never know when a wild one slips through!

All poses shown are by Sims Revolutions, YY4Me of Simphomania, Stylissimode, Mrs. Sims, or me. Head textures by Maxis, Night Time Sims, Sims Revolutions, or Skins by Jill D. Head meshes by Jeannie's Bottle of Sims (closed), Sim Freaks, 8th Deadly Sim, Comhair, Frilly Sims, or Sims Corner.

Some of my shoes and accessories were based on accessories and textures found at Sim Accents. Also, the Jean Pack found at Sims Revolutions' Yahoo Group was of great help when it came to getting started on pants.

All of the graphics on this site were created by me using Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 8, unless otherwise noted. My object files are fileshareable, cloneable, and recolorable, as long as you include a credit to me and this site in the object description and on your website.
